How can I make my own hot wax for hair removal? Hot wax (wax zip) is so expensive to order online and readily available in pharmacies (because of the responsibility, I think).
There must be a simple way to do this with paraffin or candle wax and some additives. Has anyone been able to arrive at a formula that works?
Go to Sally's beauty supply and get there. This is only like $ 5 - $ 10. Good luck!

In fact, I went to Sally and it costs $ 14 but it was 14 oz and filled my pot of wax so it was a better deal than buying zipwax.
Still want to know how to do it though. The ingrediants on the package said Rosen, beeswax and paraffin, finally .... maybe I'll experiment if I can get Rosen???? Flag
You can get it cheap from Veet. I bought boots for £ 7 ..
This site gives a recipe for making hot wax - do not know how it will work well if

Heyy, if you want to do by Urself, follow this:
1. Need U citric acid (I mean one is like the salt they used for food especially for salads. I used all the time). u can by it from any store.
2. u need sugar, and
3. water
Directorate:
Combine all three (water, citric acid and sugar) and boil them until they began to be hard and difficult to mix.
You may not repeatedly until sueccess u, but its OK. The reason would not miss the reckoning, as when it is hard.
Send me e-mail so that I know U Got it, and tell me if u did.

The amounts are as follows:
