Wool Fat Soap

We bought a new washing machine and dryer and still have that smell. Could it be our laundry soap? I use liquid laundry soap. "I use a detergent powder green cloth diapers for our son and they are the only thing that does not stink. Is it dryer sheets? I thought it was dry bales of wool, but have not used since we have new devices.
Help please!

The only difference between what you use and what use is dryer sheets. I do not use them.

Try adding a cup of white vinegar to the wash cycle begins. See if that helps.
