Waxing Rash Waxing rash? When I tried Veet wax strips at home on my legs, they have not worked at all and I left the room for this really weird and uncomfortable rash that disappeared after a few hours. In a few days until I decided to get my upper lip waxed and I'm afraid he may have the same effect (as long as I say bus home and it can be rather embaressing). Does anybody know weather the eruption could be just the product or whether it will happen with wax where i and with any type of wax product I use? All hair removal will leave a red rash for a while. It depends on the sensitivity of your skin. It is likely that your skin may be red to pink color for at least 10 minutes or more, as I said, depending on your sensibility. Remember, you not only remove hair, but you remove the top layer of skin, bringing the pink new skin underneath. The eruption could have been from the product itself or only from tearing the skin. Usually if a rash, rash (not just the new skin) will bump to go with it and not go so fast. If you have any eyebrows done in a salon, my suggestion is to do these things: be happy to help. Flag I waxed my lip a few times and had to leave. My hair is black and he is rude. I am left with a red lip, bumps ingrown hairs, and I started to develop a skin discoloration above my lip. A darker. They say that black hair has larger follicles and dirt and bacteria can settle into lodging. If you have sensitive skin, I suggest you do not. I use Sally Henson facial hair remover. Do not leave it too long. It works for me. But as far as anyone knowing that you got your lip waxed. Unless it's a few hours after the wax, it will be red / pink and sensitive. The price we women have to pay for beauty. With waxing, you must be very careful how you apply the tape in the direction of hair growth and pull in the opposite direction. The rash is probably due to pull so hard and not be able to get the hair. Posted on May 2, 2010.
