Waxing Rash

Waxing RashWaxing rash?

When I tried Veet wax strips at home on my legs, they have not worked at all and I left the room for this really weird and uncomfortable rash that disappeared after a few hours. In a few days until I decided to get my upper lip waxed and I'm afraid he may have the same effect (as long as I say bus home and it can be rather embaressing). Does anybody know weather the eruption could be just the product or whether it will happen with wax where i and with any type of wax product I use?

All hair removal will leave a red rash for a while. It depends on the sensitivity of your skin. It is likely that your skin may be red to pink color for at least 10 minutes or more, as I said, depending on your sensibility. Remember, you not only remove hair, but you remove the top layer of skin, bringing the pink new skin underneath. The eruption could have been from the product itself or only from tearing the skin. Usually if a rash, rash (not just the new skin) will bump to go with it and not go so fast. If you have any eyebrows done in a salon, my suggestion is to do these things:

A) At the show, make sure they are not "double dip" the wax sticks. You do not have nasty on your skin, but what about the skanky chick before they do the same thing? This is one reason for leave or speak to the manager of salon.

B) Most kits include a salon waxing gel aloe soother and a moisturizer, which helps the redness go down faster. I am very red, but in about 10 minutes into it a more subtle pink.

C) wear big sunglasses (when you get eyebrows done) if you have to do and not be embarrassed if your lips are red or pink! We women do crazy things for beauty, and if other women do not receive, they are not all there. And if men are not, well, they are men, they tend to appriciate the end result anyway.

Any color will remain on ice or aloe in an hour more generally whether the procedure was done correctly.

Good luck with it my dear!

I waxed my lip a few times and had to leave. My hair is black and he is rude. I am left with a red lip, bumps ingrown hairs, and I started to develop a skin discoloration above my lip. A darker. They say that black hair has larger follicles and dirt and bacteria can settle into lodging. If you have sensitive skin, I suggest you do not. I use Sally Henson facial hair remover. Do not leave it too long. It works for me. But as far as anyone knowing that you got your lip waxed. Unless it's a few hours after the wax, it will be red / pink and sensitive. The price we women have to pay for beauty.

With waxing, you must be very careful how you apply the tape in the direction of hair growth and pull in the opposite direction. The rash is probably due to pull so hard and not be able to get the hair.
I suggest going to an Indian beauty salon and get your upper lip threaded - there will be no rash, just might go a little pink, but you can put ice on it or wait about 10 minutes after u in the lounge, it will go.
I once had a rash too when I tried to wax my upper lip, but was at home. Never attempt these things at home if you do not have the experience!
