I was also informed by a few parents that they use candle wax to really help cuts for their children and it works.

Yes, it actually works.
minerals found in the wax tends to accelerate the process a little. essentially what it does is it acts as an adhesive and cover the skin like a plaster but the heat would accelerate the process. Report Abuse
its the same as if u were to use super glue on an open wound.
However, time and heat that would be required for melting the wax so would burn. enough to burn skin if it is not enough wax is heated. it depends on the amount of heated wax. Flag
