The city with a mixture of old and new Reading is a town in the borough of Reading and the urban area in the English county of Berkshire. The city is the historic town of Royal Berkshire.
The reading center is on a small ridge between the rivers Thames and Kennet. It is a mixture of old and new, with old red brick buildings on the local side by side with modern commercial buildings.
