Somerset Shaving Why do men shave their heads British all the time? I have the sweetest companion of Somerset, and it has everything that a servant American English charm imaginable (polite, sweet, funny, etc.), but he insisted on shaving his head instead of growing his hair! Some men look really good that way, but as is so blonde (think Simon Pegg), it sometimes seems strange, especially when it is super close shave - not to mention, it makes him look much more older than him (24). However, I noticed that we were touring the British Isles (Scotland and Ireland and England), I saw a ton of head shaved - and most of them were young men who were also blond and / or heads of red! What is wrong with that? Is this the look hooligan 'or something else? My guy started shaving because it's a unique look "that I found kind of funny because the number of young people with the same hair! Thus men Anglo-Irish-Scottish, why take the razor your head? which is so stereotypical, huh why American men are used as much hair gel? very few men in the UK are online at this time ... The mod look is fashionable. I can only think of 2 with a shaved head / bald people I know and both are 45 + ... is a generalization complete. Posted on March 13, 2010.
