Shaving my head against cancer? Okay, so basically I am a woman of 17 years. At my school, we organize a shave your lid for a kid thing. Basically you see how muh money you can raise. I have hair down to my level brachii. I know many people who have had cancer and have lost their battle. One in particular was Adam Wisdom (you can verify his story on YouTube type in Adam Wisdom cancer story 1st link). When you come to think of it, there are so many cases of childhood cancer, and should not be a reality. I'm in grade 12, so this is my last year. I'm really debating whether or not I have to, considerig Grad .. But this may be that we have the head shaving after Grad. Anyway, I want to raise money slot. I wondered:
1) If I asked you to be a sponsor for me in doing that, you?
2) do I shave my head, if my parents agree? I understand that this is a huge decision, and that it will take more than a year for my hairto grow back normally. What would you do?
Oh, and he is the head shavig done publicly in front of the whole school during a rally PEP.

Wow. Is a very important decision to make. Like ... I'm speechless. It's so good to you. I do not really know what to say. I'm 15 now, but I was diagnosed with stage III ovarian cancer when I was 14 years. Since I had to get chemotherapy, my mother shaved all my hair. I was crying like crazy because I used to have really nice hair, but it is increasingly back now and I'm also in a state of remission. =)
Anyway, I doubt that you sponsor to do so. What you do is great and I feel so happy that people there actually care. You really do not know how much it means to us children against cancer. =)
And you do not shave your head if you really want and if your parents agree. Obviously this is not a requirement, but if you want to do that, and if you're parents agree with it, then go for it! =) Lol, I do not really think I would do this given the fact that I lost my hair and it just push alreaady yet. = P
sounds amazing! the will of the people who volunteer is a gift of their hair as well? Locks of Love and Pantene beautiful lengths are two major programs to consider.
I would like to sponsor this event and I think the answer on the desirability of doing so is already in your heart. I think it's a great idea!

I think it would be so cool to make. At my school, we were not allowed to shave their heads (all girl Catholic schools)
