I agree with the answer above in that there is not really off when you're looking for pure sandalwood EO. Usually, discounts you get when you are buying in large quantities. I used to use for its youth, but have found some inconsistancies in some of repeat purchases of their oil. Sandal wood is a difficult question because it does not come from India more. Australia is one of the leading producers and suppliers of sandalwood those days. They are highly regulated for quality. There are a few other producers based in Asia, but I have no idea about the quality.

Simplers based in Northern California and raise its quality. Their 5ml is $ 38.

I know Aura Cacia Australian has Sanadalwood. They are less expensive than Simplers but not much.

I use EO Simplers most in my ointment that I do. I trust the quality.

If you find a good sandalwood is most likely synthetic.
