Post Shave How to shave without damaging your skin Are you causing damage to your skin? In general, what men want in their care product is something that works and easy to use. Unfortunately, skin care is not as simple and fundamental that the system "3-Step" - Cleanse, tone and moisturize or simplified "wash and go" routine. Accordingly, most men do not regularly use sunscreen and leave them at risk for skin cancer and wrinkles. It also means that most men do not know what ingredients irritating shave their products can contain, and they end up with razor burn, ( which is often "product" burn). In recent years there has been a remarkable increase in sales of beauty products for men on the market. With a selection of products flying off the shelves, it would be difficult for men to make the difference between a good and bad. This can be summarized with the fact that men are generally reluctant "cosmetic" consumers who are reluctant to spend too much time and effort to research consumer information on the subject, who waste their money on unnecessary care products or problematic. While it would be great if it was simple enough to recommend products from skin care lines "designed" for men, it appears that most of these products are poorly made, contain far too many irritating ingredients, or are too expensive and is not worth the extra cost .. How to shave without damaging your skin Shaving is the most typical early routine care of a man. It is also the first area where they can make mistakes. Most gels, shaving creams or lotions before and after shaving, especially those oriented toward men, contain irritating ingredients like alcohol, menthol, mint, camphor, and high levels potassium or sodium hydroxide. These ingredients are irritating to the skin that the hair follicle and skin swell, forcing the hair and skin, supposedly allowing for a closer shave. Unfortunately, the irritation and resulting swelling cause some hair to be hidden by the swollen follicle and skin. Note that sodium hydroxide is used in many beauty products at very low levels (the smaller amount of an ingredient in a product unless it is the list of ingredients on the label) to adjust the value pH. In these small quantities, it is not irritating to the skin. In addition, the skin swollen, it is harder for the stubble to find its way back. If the hair begins to grow (which is almost immediately) before the swelling is reduced, the likelihood of ingrown hairs is increased. Do you know that you can cause damage to the skin by shaving incorrectly? Shaving with a razor abraded skin enough to cause havoc, but men in general splash alcohol-based aftershave lotion with irritating ingredients over that broken skin. Try a splashing aftershave on a cut or scratch on any part of your body. Now, why would you do to your face and damage your skin? Posted on March 5, 2010.
