Will they loosen the nails?

It depends on your nails. If you have varnish on them, it will disconnect from your end. If you have pink and white acrylic, it will not hurt them one iota. It does not loosen the nails.

Yeah I do not think I soak it in paraffin proabably woulnt to take off, but artificial nails are not very clean many things could be hideing down there and things like that can stick to your wax and bacteria love hot unless you change the paraffin every time you use it or if you clean your nails very well with, like a nail brush and antibacterial soap then you might be allowed.
