The bottle of oil I had with the mower is over and the bottle is not available separately.
Can I use the oil that is used in sewing machines (engine oil)?
The dealer where I had the mower told me to use coconut oil, but then another person, that of the sewing machine shop told me strictly not use coconut oil that would attract dust and jam the blades of the mower. Instead, he told me to use the machine oil.
Confused. Please help.

Sewing machine oil is good, especially if you already have it.

A product is widely distributed "3in1" oil that will work well.

Coconut oil is not good for the machines.

A light machine oil should be perfect.My absolute favorite is "Zoom beak" of petroleum, which is a notch above the machine oil waste. I found it at Ace Hardware, True Value (and many others), and stores of different devices. (It continues to operate while other products widely distributed were transformed into black crud.)

Just do not be too many people put "way too much oil on anything they lubricate
