MarketplaceMen Shave Their Christian Marriage HINDUISM SOME AMAZING / interesting excerpts from a few works in Sanskrit POPULAR D. RAMESH 1.I have tried to break down some information, which many do not know, who are really amazing, on various aspects of life. I tried to make shrutis and Smritis. The original mantras and shlokas and their meanings have been reproduced from originals. In some places, I gave my own interpretation. If this is not acceptable to the researchers, I would like to humbly apologize to them when they submit with a word about our shrutis and Smriti: our traditions allow an incredible freedom to interpret the texts that reader hears. 2.Prior write something more, let me say a word. I am not a Sanskrit scholar. I have not had the privilege of studying it as an object, deeply. As my fortune would have it by chance about 18 years ago, I had the opportunity to serve at the Vivekananda Yoga Research Foundation, nearly Jigani. While there, I had the unique opportunity to listen to lectures by great people, learned a lot, a lot of experience. On hearing these wonderful speech that I was deeply touched and somehow pushed me to study Sanskrit texts at least in their English and Kannada. At that time, fortunately for me, Shri Phanirajji and his wife were Dr.Ramaa giving speeches in their home, which was also not far from mine. Their various discourses on the Upanishads, Gita Bhagadvad, the works of Shankara and others were given daily. I have never heard such a wonderful speech and interesting addition. They were incomparably lucid, especially because Phanirajji is a man of outstanding patient would not be opposed to a student by stopping in the middle of clarification. He would never admonish them or ask them to seek clarification at the end of the conversation. It would clarify the doubt then and there until the applicant has been satisfied. And everything he did with his wonderful smiling face. He then resumed his speech at the exact spot where he had been arrested. Dr.Ramaa also give similar conferences. 3. These interviews have changed our outlook on life completely. We are pleased achieved, but unfortunately a bit late in life, the deep oceans of knowledge waiting to be appreciated. I can never adequately express my gratitude to these ever gurus what they have done for me and my wife. (At this point, my wife was stricken with a terrible nerve disease that makes her bed rose nearly 18 months. This situation has forced us to end the experience of listening to speech). 4. Fortunately for us, my wife, my children and my hobbies (hobby only) Reading: fiction, autobiographies, science, and all other forms of literature. This included books on Vedanta and similar traditions. For example, most speeches by scholars, some self-study, however inadequate, I came across a few passages that were sometimes surprising, some amazing and others advise entirely appropriate for life. What I thought was a rare privilege given to me and I am eager to share with others who might be interested, some of these great passages. At the same time, I was more ambitious, if you will, the possibility of at least some readers are inspired by trying to change some practices the most cruel and despicable that exist in our society.
