Can someone list the different hair removal options available? I want to know the different hair removal options available, and the advantages and disadvantages of each. Which method you use and why?
Face (and body) hair on women is about the same way as on men because of
1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone - does not happen to all girls, but many
2) the core of high levels of testosterone
The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on how much testosterone circulating in the blood.
Avoid bleaching - when someone sees you against the light you'll look as if you had a mustache, light and / or beard.
Regarding the removal it should be remembered that
* Waxing, plucking, threading, epilating all pull the hair by the roots and where the growth is hormonally can actually stimulate a dormant follicle into producing more hair quicker. They also distort the root if done repeatedly, that hair growth at strange angles. And you have to let their hair grow to quite a length before you can repeat the exercise. It can also damage the skin and discolor it. The long-term use of waxing also causes bad wrinkles.
* Chemical Depilatories strong enough to remove the hair are very likely to burn skin, cause swelling and cause long-term discoloration of the skin.
* Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration and in any case is only effective on dark hair / light skin combinantion.
* Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.
Which, like it or not, leaves shaving which does not damage the skin. Best done with an electric razor for men's style, whose best for women, are probably those of the range of men Norelco (Philishave outside the U.S.). Most women who try Norelco wonder why no male has ever told them about it before.
Plumer (depilation), shaving, depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. Waxing usually lasts 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you need to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. is preferable to rubbing alcohol and a lighter.
