Grooming Your Horse

Grooming Your HorseHow much time do you spend grooming your horse?

I spend at least ten minutes a day, with some of them really well every month.

But 10 minutes per day = 310 minutes per month = 5.2 hours per month = more than 60 hours per year!

So what do you think your estimate of annual hours of grooming is? What other things too (such as riding or mucking stall)?

I'm kind of lazy when it comes to grooming. If there is no visible dirt (which is usually not - she's a woman dirty) I just made a curry fast, hard and a soft brush and take his shoes.

There is a reason why I love winter: Margo body = off and covered. Only mess is his legs and tail, then boom, it is clean as a whistle. P

I do not even want to know, but I spend about 6 hours a day grooming (6 horses = 1 hour of a horse) I show horses if I need to do lots of things every day and they love to be groomed. On performance days, I spend almost 5 hours on each horse and 2 horses I usually go to every show. I clean my stalls 3 times a day and write all together about 3 hours per day cleaning. Now riding is about 30 minutes a horse one day when I drive my youngest very day. Remember that I am a stay at home mom and my horses are in the backyard and I'm there all day every day.

As much time as possible <3
But my horse is in training at a farm in 2 hours. I only see him every second weekend. : (((It would beevery weekend, but the roads are very bad in winter)
Probably 40 hours instead of 60. I do not know.

I ride, I clean, I suggest you be a husband to other people, I help with the lessons sometimes, and I / Audit attend clinics at the barn. I also do business with a local club 4h. clubs wack because the leaders take control, so I usually ENTER, but I help him as much as I can. (This weekend I am MC'ing for their interventions club)

Aw I love grooming my horse, it's relaxing. Umm about 10 minutes before I ride, to heat and get all the dirt and whatnot out of it, she loves to ride xx
then after 10-20 depending if I have coverage, and rinse his composure.
Before shows that I spend 3-4 hours a joke bathe. It takes 1-2 hours to get all the tangles of his tail! And also I love the brushing and washing the tail anyway, Haha.

Let's see ............ I spend about 15 minutes a day grooming each horse, I have 6 horses while 1 1 / 2 hours per day, 10.5 hours per week, 42 hours per month, 504 hours per year, which equals 21 eactly day grooming my horses a year .................. Wow, I spend almost the entire month of February grooming my horses, I must love them ha ha I'm sure if I added in my constituency and cleaning up after my horses and horses too, it would probably come out somewhere between a total of 3 consecutive months of spending time with my horses ... ......... WOW

I'll say an average of half an hour a day. on a regular basis, as it only takes 10 minutes, but when he puts it might take more than an hour, and during the summer when it rolls in the mud, I spend over an hour more than once week scraping mud. ..

then 30 minutes a day, 7 days a week ... 3.5 hours per week, 182 hours per year! thats about 7.5 days, while more than a week of my life is spent grooming each year: D

think about how much time we spend with our horses together well! I spend oh, say 3 hours a day with my horse. In winter it is closer to 1 or 2, but in summer it is 4 or 5 (spring and autumn are more like 2.5) So 3 hours per day, 21 hours per week, 1092 hours per year, 45.5 days. or 6 weeks and a half ... LOL more than a month!

Edit: This picture posted MJ, that's how my horse looks every two days in spring and summer, when it is muddy. This is why it takes so long!

So far, I &.
