Keep your shaver clean and free of germs for a clean shave If you shave the face, underarm or leg hair, you probably keep a razor ready for this daily chore or frequent. You can use a plastic razor blade a few times before discarding them, or you could have your own razor stainless steel permanent type. Each time you use a razor more than once, it is important to clean it before using it properly next time.
Remember to use soap or shaving cream every time you shave. This will soften the hair of the body and prepare it for removal, as well as remove dead surface cells, oils and dirt. The razor will not pick up the dirt and residue that if you do not use soap for shaving. Always rinse your razor after each scan to get rid of the first line of debris. Otherwise, it can accumulate and clog the razor, resulting in a dull blade and make it more difficult to clean later.
Then, when you have finished shaving, take the razor apart if you have the permanent type. Use a little liquid soap and warm water to wash each part. Dry them or let air dry before putting everything together. Place the razor blade protective cover over the blade and store in a clean, dry place where it will not be subject to dust and moisture, which can cause razor blade metal to rust.
If you have a plastic disposable razor that you plan to use it again, rinse after each application of the blade. Leave run hot water over and through it to remove hair cut. Try a visual inspection of the blade to ensure it is clean and free of debris. When you have finished shaving for once, put a little liquid soap and hot water to the shaving head and let it run warm water over it to finish the cleaning process. Allow the razor to air dry before replacing the lid.
Store the plastic razor in a clean, like a drawer, closet or a shelf, out of the reach of any children in the household. When you notice that the blade is dull after two or three uses, then you can delete it and get a new one again. Do not share razors with anyone but a spouse or child, if any, and preferably keep yours for personal use only, as certain types of germs can be transmitted this way, and you'll feel cleaner using your own blade every time.
Keep a supply of fresh disposable razors handy, so you do not run out and borrow from each other family member or use the old one which is ready to be discarded. This could be a good idea to keep a permanent replacement razor handy in case of rupture of a normal tone, or for use Travel.
