Car Wax Removal

Do you need to remove all traces of wax on a car before rewaxing? Someone told me it is better to use dishwashing soap on the first car to remove the wax. Is it true? I usually just use a good car soap, wash gold Mcguier, and wax Mcguier.

Never use dish soap. It is true that wax strips than laundry detergent, but it is very bad, and the resulting surface can be polished, but be prepared again.
