Tamara Braun is the newest addition to NBC Days of Our family lives. The newcomer will play the character of Ava, a mysterious woman from Steve Johnson (played by Stephen Nichols) yet unknown past.



Braun was thrown former ABC's General Hospital Caroline "Corinth Carly" Benson-Roberts. She left the series launched in 2005 to participate in other projects. After three long years, she is back in the world of soaps.



In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Tamara Braun shares his feelings be known for the show. "It was an exciting surprise," she said. "I received a call, and it was a role that really intrigued, so we got to talking. [Ava] sounds very layered and complex and seems like there is much to sink my teeth into."

In accepting the role offered Braun also brought together with former General Hospital cast mates Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans. Braun said she is happy to work with both new. "Stephen and I crossed in the makeup room and say basic" Hellos, "but we never really got to know each other and we never worked together as actors, so I'm looking forward be there. He is an actor in an actor and loves to enter. I'm looking forward to what we could find, "she shared.



Evans, on the other hand, went on Braun and gave him "the biggest hug" when he arrived on set for her big day paste first. Braun is also keen to tame and get to know all the other days lives of our cast. "So far, everyone is friendly and warm," she said cheerfully.

Braun will present at the show for a short duration. His contract with NBC has been clear about this. But Braun is happy, and that's exactly what she wants. She even considers the arrangement as a "perfect" one. She simply knows his plans and priorities in life. "There was nothing wrong with leaving the day and there is nothing wrong with coming back," she said. "Things should come into your life. There must be a good time to express and explore some things.
