Bikini Line Shaving Tips

Is what I can do to avoid red bumps from shaving my bikini line?? I have to shave British Columbia I am a swimmer and u can not have pubes coming out of my costume .. Gross. Advice?? I need help bc the bumps are not attractive eitherr

I thing the lady Phillips shaving razor. It's like what people use for their face .. as the electric razor and I shave the hair and does not give any lumps or anything.I do not recommend using a razor to shave regularly because this will give you bumps.

wax or cut. Shaving is terrible for the skin there. If you insist on shaving, shave DOWN goes in the direction of the hair out, never to shave, is what causes bumps for most people.

Sometimes it helps to soak in hot water for a bit before shaving. Soap / Backup cream is also important, that you are using may irritate your skin, use soap all natural without harsh chemicals. It makes all the difference. Oh, and make sure the blade is not dull. :)

Try using something other than a razor and shaving cream .. it'll also easier over time

I just cut mine near the skin as possible, because of these bumps, but I've been told that if you shave on a regular basis to stop the bumps arise. im a little skeptical because I understand that these bumps are ingrown hairs, strain the hair follicle down below the surface of the skin. the hair will continue to grow and become ingrown as long as you shave (by my logic), so im not sure why it would stop happening.

Wax them, the custom hair back until 4 / 5 weeks and when they do they will come back finer.

If your game on shaving, putting on a lot of talcum powder and moisturize daily.

Waxing is honestly the best way to avoid it. If you go to shave, you must make sure you exfoliate on a regular basis, then use a new razor every time. Also, I found this book (do not remember the name) in a beauty shop and Wal-Mart to help prevent the bumps. It really worked, but for a few minutes had a strong odor. Even with all this, it is still difficult to avoid.
